Our
mission
To empower facilitators who work with women and people with periods with the knowledge that their client’s menstrual cycle is a gift — and one they can work with, rather than against.
Cycle Coach School was
founded by
women’s coach and menstrual cycle awareness educator Claire Baker in 2019 and we’ve now trained over 150 Menstrual Cycle Coaches in 27 countries.
6-month online training & certification
Cycle Coach School is a program for people who know that there is power in the female body — and they want to share that knowing with their clients and communities around the world.
Meet our Founder
Claire Baker
Founder & Lead Teacher
Claire Baker is the founder of Cycle Coach School, a sought-after women’s coach and menstrual cycle awareness educator who has been working in this industry for over a decade. It was 2013 when Claire began merging menstrual cycle awareness into her coaching practice, having personally recognised what an enormous impact her own menstrual cycle had on her thoughts, feelings, relationships, motivation, mood, decisions, and sense of self.
In 2020 she published her first book, ‘50 Things You Need To Know About Periods: Know Your Flow and Live in Sync With Your Cycle’ and has taught thousands of women how to live in harmony with their menstrual cycle, rather than working against it.
Her immersive courses and workshops inspire women to know their flow and become the authority in their own lives. With a background in visual arts and creative business, Claire is a certified health and life coach, has studied Menstruality Leadership and is a trained natural fertility teacher. Originally from Australia, Claire now lives in sunny East London and spends her days coaching, teaching, writing, dancing and being as close to trees as she possibly can.
After ten years of taking hormonal contraception, it was ‘like going from black and white to technicolour’ when Claire started getting to know herself again post-pill. Every week she noticed changes in her physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and creative life.
A bit more about Claire…
Claire believes wholeheartedly that menstrual cycle awareness is the missing key in women’s well-being, empowerment and creativity.
It seemed so obvious to her that facilitators, coaches and practitioners who work with women should be incorporating the fluctuating energy, enormous power and natural wisdom of the menstrual cycle into their work with clients! Yet she couldn’t see anyone else doing it. After over 2000 hours of 1:1 and group work with clients, a unique modality began to form and in 2019 Claire founded Cycle Coach School to teach this Cycle Coach modality to others.
Our Core Values
Menstruality
We recognise and honour the menstrual cycle as a natural and powerful aspect of life. By promoting a holistic understanding of menstruation, we acknowledge its physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions. In valuing Menstruality we support gender equality, body positivity and self-care, fostering a culture that celebrates and respects the diverse experiences and needs of women and people with periods throughout their menstrual journey. Our client-led approach values the unique experience of those we serve. Beyond textbooks and theories, we believe that our clients are the experts on their own bodies; by holding space to bring them into greater connection with their Menstruality, the inner answers emerge.
Belonging
Cycle Coaching goes beyond tracking periods and lifestyle adjustments; it addresses the profound issue of self-connection to our bodies, inner power and the myriad of cycles we move through as human beings: lunar, seasonal, creative, life cycle and more. By acknowledging the menstrual cycle's significance in our lives, your clients can break free from societal norms that force them to suppress their true selves. This modality empowers individuals to speak their truth, embrace their unique Menstrual Path and find a profound sense of belonging within themselves. Cycle Coaching fosters acceptance of the entire self as a menstruating, cyclical being, promoting deeper connection and self-understanding.
Transformation
We believe in embracing change, just as we embrace the ever-changing nature of the female body. By integrating menstrual cycle awareness into our lives, we learn to navigate the ebbs and flows of both our cycles and of life itself. Over time, this practice fosters inner and outer transformation. Cycle Coach School prioritises this transformative journey for each trainee, encouraging shifts in perspective, initiations, and personal and professional growth. Together, we form a community of cycle-aware facilitators, igniting global transformation through the integration of menstrual wisdom into the lives of our clients and communities. This is not just about periods, but about transforming our approach to life.

Acknowledging our Lineage
We have an enormous amount of gratitude, respect and awe for all of those who have shone the torch and contributed to the emergence of professional pathways in Menstruality. We would especially like to thank and acknowledge Alexandra Pope & Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer of Red School who coined the term ‘menstrual cycle awareness’, Dr. Kerry Hampton, Jane Hardwicke Collings, Natalie Kringoudis, the team at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Miranda Gray and Jane Catherine Severn who coined the term ‘Menstruality’.
